VP Election
SKEA is electing a new vice president because Tyler Scialo-Lakeberg, our current VP, will become president over the summer when current president, Maraline Ellis, retires.
Voting will be open for one week, May 15th - May 22nd. Ballots were sent to members’ work email. Please contact skeaelections@gmail.com if you did not receive your ballot.

Student Achievement Award - Applications Due
SKEA’s Student Achievement Award will be granted to students who demonstrate characteristics of leadership, academic growth, achievement, community and school engagement. Student must be a child and/or dependent of a SKEA member to qualify.
All applications must be postmarked or hand delivered to the SKEA office by MAY 1, 2026. All Applicants will be notified by May 20, 2026.
May Day
The history of May Day is rooted in workers solidarity and the labor movement’s struggle for better working conditions and the recognition of demonstrations put forth by labor unions across the nation.
Your SKEA Human and Civil Rights Committee has put together a short list of ideas for members that would like to support the movement.

Your SKEA president, Maraline Ellis, is retiring. That means, your current vice president, Tyler Scialo-Lakeberg, will become president, and leave our VP space vacant. We must nominate and elect a new VP, or risk losing this paid representative position.
